Christmas is just around the corner ,but for these lucky passengers Santa has seems to stop by early this Christmas…..
Through the help of 175 WestJet volunteers, three airports and Santa himself, they were able to make this Christmas one of the most memorable Christmases for more than 250+ guests that flew on two Calgary-bound flights. The time and effort these wonderful people put in just to put a smile on those people’s faces is unreal. What better way to put people in the Christmas spirit than help Santa with his very busy schedule this time of year? What I loved most about this video was the team effort that everyone put together in order to fulfill Santa’s Christmas list. WestJet airlines has truly outdone themselves, bringing a whole new meaning of the word giving one present at a time.
This idea of giving was not only brilliant, but innovative as well. As I read through this article http://blog.westjet.com/westjet-christmas-miracle-video-real-time-giving/, I’ve realized that they did exactly what we did in order to create this stunning idea. They sat down and brainstormed until a light sparked in their heads.
…..we sat down with our friends at studio m and started brainstorming what ‘giving’ looked like at its best. We wanted to do something big, exciting and fresh.
This video has given me the inspiration to try to achieve the same results with our innovation project. What I want most out of my project is too make a difference in someone’s life. I want to have the self accomplishment knowing that because of us we were able to make someone smile and laugh through our actions. This may not sound like a big task to do, but seeing the end results like the video shown will be all worth it.
Until next time readers!
