When people think of tattoos, we think hot, harmful… and permanent. Yet, we need to keep in mind the tattoos for children. The tattoos where rubbing water across the backside of the tattoo sheet will do the trick. Google, of course continuing in their technological advances that will “slowly take over the world,” has advanced such tattoos to a higher level… including lie detection.
This throat a.k.a neck tattoo created by Google can have multiple functions due to its ability to connect your skin to a mobile device. The electronic tattoo “adheres to a sticky substance on the skin. It contains an embedded microphone and hooks up to your mobile device, enabling wireless communication.”

The tattoo can decrease background noise when talking, hence increasing clear conversations when on mobile, transmit voice commands to your phone when you are not handling it, and respond to audio sources which will send notifications or commands to your mobile device. The tattoo’s most astounding function, however, is lie detection.
“the electronic skin tattoo can further include a galvanic skin response detector to detect skin resistance of a user. It is contemplated that a user that may be nervous or engaging in speaking falsehoods may exhibit different galvanic skin response than a more confident, truth telling individual.”

This tattoo does seem a bit…funky, do you not think? It is a great innovation, no doubt about that. But, what if Google can sense your location (or the people who happen to be using the tattoo). And with that sensor, be able to know your every move and every word. And then what if with them knowing that they track you down and see all your secrets, which may or may not harm others or yourself. Or what if Google’s plan was to implement this tattoo specifically for other “enemy” business networks where they can spy on them and see what they are up to. Okay… maybe I am exaggerating a bit, because this is beginning to sound like an action movie, but I just wanted you all to know Google could possibly, honestly “take over the world.”
Google does suggest, however, that the tattoo be used for security purposes, specifically undercover operations. Those what if’s may seem threatening, but if an undercover cop was to put to use the tattoo for such what if purposes, then I guess the tattoo will help.
Google has also created a “password tattoo (and pill)” earlier this year.
Google is the leading innovative network. These are great technological advances. I am just afraid such advances will overrule our world. Just a thought….
