Just a Little Motivation…….

What is Motivation? Motivation is the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way. I personally think of motivation as something a little different. To me, motivation is what pushes you into becoming something far greater than you think. Motivation is the purpose of life, it is the reason why people some people are great and while others struggle. To me, motivation is not just about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. It isn’t about working until you succeed, but  about working until you fail. This is what motivation is to me.

What motivates me personally is looking at my future and setting a goal for myself. Trying is what motivation revolves around. You cannot fail without trying, and failure is just another step in succeeding. When competing against someone, obviously the winner is going to be the person who works harder for the win right? Right. Second thoughts are the bane to motivations existence. Confidence, dedication, and struggle are key to being motivated. What’s the point in working hard if you are willing to give up your blood, sweat, and tears to just fail? Why not go that extra mile and become greater than you ever thought you would be? You never know your full potential until you experience your failures.  We fall in order to rise up, to rise up from our failures into victory.

Here’s is a quick video about someone who shows true dedication no matter what the odds are. This video really points out my keys thought on what motivation really is.

You may have heard of the saying of how life isn’t fair, and this is 100%  true. And many of the times, we point our fingers at someone and try to blame someone for our failures. You must realize that that finger points directly back at you. You have the decision to make or break it, to prove people wrong or to prove people right. The decision is all yours, but just know one thing, you are better than what you really think you are. Setting a high expectation is important because it makes you work harder. The harder you work, the closer that goal is from your fingertips.

At this point, motivation is what is helping get through school. Motivation is definitely helping me come up with ideas for my innovation project. I am constantly looking through videos to somehow get inspired and turn on the light bulb in my head.  What is more important, though, is that I will not and never will quit.

I’ll catch you on the flip side readers
