Iron Man Meets Reality

In recent news, US Army researchers are working on building hi-tech body armor that would give soldiers “superhuman strength” in a real-life version of the suit featured in “Iron Man” films. This is truly an innovation that could possible help America for the greater or for the worst…..

The features that these suits of armor will contain has identical features to the suit of armor of Iron Man.

“The blueprint for the “revolutionary” Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (TALOS) would include an exoskeleton to allow a soldier to carry heavy equipment, built-in computing power, beefed up protection to stop bullets and a system to monitor vital signs,” officials said.

“Some of the potential technologies planned for TALOS research and development include advanced armor, situational awareness, command and control computers, power management systems, and enhanced mobility exoskeletons,”according to a US Army statement issued last month.

Like I have said this could be a project that will benefit America greatly or cause extreme chaos through technical problems. As you probably know, there are cartoons and shows such as the Terminator that shows the war between robots and humans. This is extremely unlikely  to happen to us because it’s just a fictional show, however, Iron man is a fictional superhero but apparently is made into a reality.

What blows my mind the most is the crazy idea of actually creating these new innovation and watching progression happen right before my eyes. Talks about the cost and how expensive it will be to create this project , who they are going to assign to build this project, and what they can and can’t do on this project is already being discussed. What I do know is that they each followed the same innovation steps like we did creating our innovation project. Through the bad idea factory, brainstorming, crows and crops, etc. they came up with this. The most important thing to me about their project is their commitment. This is something that I need to definitely be working on in order to create a successful project that will help innovate the world.

“I’m very committed to this,” McRaven told an industry conference in July. “I’d like that last operator that we lost to be the last operator we lose in this fight or the fight of the future, and I think we can get there.”
